A Place of My Own

a whimsical & wacky living room space.

A Place of My Own is a fully interactive gallery installation, designed top to bottom by me. The concept – designing every single element of a living room – began six months ago and came to life in April 2025. I filled the space with sarcastic posters, spoof books, faux “blockbuster” DVDs, and vinyl records that fooled more than a few people into googling them. It exists as a chaotic, cheeky glimpse into what it might look like if my brain exploded in a room. My goal was twofold: to make people feel “at home,” and to offer a playful-yet-accessible look at what it’s like to be a designer.
